Our Philosophy
Being Human Is Enough
This work lives in both studio yoga classes and private 1:1 yoga therapy sessions - rooted in yoga traditions, shaped by modern understanding.

An Integrated Practice | Community & Connection | What This Practice Is (and Isn’t) | Our Commitment
This isn’t about “performing” yoga or getting the perfect pose.
It’s about learning how to pay attention to yourself in a way many of us were never taught.
In both studio classes and private sessions, the invitation is the same:
move at your own pace, listen to your body, and build a practice that actually fits your life.
The approach is consistent - how it meets you is personal.
It’s an integrated way of practicing that works with you as a whole person, not just what’s happening on the mat.
An Integrated Practice
Yoga therapy isn’t about stretching or fitness.
It’s about building awareness of how you move through your life.
Your body.
Your breath.
Your patterns.
Your inner world.
Your place in the world around you.
In 1:1 yoga therapy, it’s client-led and personalized.
In studio classes, it’s about power of choice, listening to your body, and creating space.
Community & Connection
Community Is Medicine
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We grow through relationship, connection, and shared space.
You Are Not Alone
You don’t have to carry everything alone. This is a place to be witnessed, supported, and human.
You Don’t Have to be in Crisis
No, you’re life doesn’t have to be on fire to come practice here.
Yoga therapy isn’t a quick fix.
This is a supportive process that offers practical tools and steady practices to create meaningful, lasting change.
Change doesn’t happen all at once. But when you are ready to show up for yourself (even a little at a time), the shift begins.
What This Practice Is
-Showing up as you are - whether you’re navigating recovery, living with PTSD, or just wanting to feel more at home in your body.
-Learning how your nervous system reacts (so you can work with it, not against it)
-Reconnecting to your body and inner signals
-Practicing being with discomfort without being consumed by it
-Growing your capacity
-Becoming more honest, aware, and responsible in how you relate to yourself & others
-Welcoming the full range of human emotions
What This Practice is Not
-Forcing calm, pretending everything is fine
-Numbing, bypassing, or going through life with “good vibes only”
-Perfection, or becoming some ultra-zen version of you
-Using your emotions as an excuse to harm yourself or others
-Bypassing responsibility and accountability
-Contorting your body into shapes to prove you’re “doing yoga right”
-A workout or fitness plan (though physical movement and postures can absolutely be part of this practice - in a way that’s intentional and supportive for you)
-Pushing through pain
Feeling deeply doesn’t mean you’re broken. Being human doesn’t make you a problem to solve.
This practice is about learning to be with what’s here - and choosing how you respond.
